My daughter has bronchiolitis, we are on day 3 and she's very chesty and unsettled. She's been sleeping and taking 40ml of milk every 2 hours (as per paediatrician recommendation).
We are using nasal saline to keep her nose clear as well as a snot sucker to clear it. We are taking all measures to make her comfortable but I am struggling seeing her like this knowing I can't really do anything.
Any advice?
I don't have any advice I'm afraid but just wanted to say that my baby girl had bronchiolitis last week and her worst day was day 5 (which is what the doctors told us would happen) so just be prepared that she will likely still get worse before she gets better. I had Calpol on hand to give her when she was really upset, but mostly she just needed lots of comfort and contact naps.
@Jess thank you for this. Hoping these next few days go quickly so she can feel better.
Humidifier in their room and not sure what age but you could add a few drops of olbas oil. Will help with their breathing overnight
