Postpartum depression

Does anyone else have a hard time adjusting to being a mom even after 15 months? Idk if I have PPD but there are times I wonder. Anyone else willing to share their experiences? My doctor made it sound like you only have PPD right after delivery for a short time

ppd can happen anytime. i do believe it’s up to 2 years after birth you can develop it and it can last so much longer than that. my ppd was rough, i struggled to “want” to take care of my daughter sometimes. i definitely struggled to take care of myself. going 1.5 weeks without showering. wasn’t eating right, i was soooo mad all of the time. i had post partum rage and anxiety. imo, it can be kind of hard to try and explain to someone. it hits everyone so differently, and this is a super hard time right now to with season depression knocking on the door. if you feel like you have ppd, ppr, or ppa, please get help 🫶🏼 go to another doctor if you need to. but it’s not fair to yourself to continue this battle with yourself. you deserve the help and you deserve the happiness
