Not baby related just want a rant

Why do cold callers come to your house at the most inconvenient times and then pressure you into changing providers and are sneaky about it and somehow always managed to convince you to sign up blah blah. Pretty much what happened to me tonight and was meant to have a nice night with partner and kids before work and just as we’re about to sit down for dinner door goes, wants to upgrade broadband next thing, sucked in and agreeing to this nonsense, then after when telling my partner he just freaks out even though he could have come to the door and see what was going on. Whole demeanour changed, not talking in a mood. Told him I’ll just cancel it which I can do but now having problems logging into emails and tried to change password to many times and now need to try again tomorrow, can also phone up and cancel which again is left ON ME to do. So annoyed honestly

Just say sorry not interested and shut the door. Or get a sign for the door. Understand it’s their job but you don’t owe them sheit

@Sharnee I don’t have it in me to do that. Why I’ve no fking idea! I think I’m going to get a sign to say but does that actually stop them ?

It should… but if it doesn’t Can you get a ring camera or something similar? At least that way you can see before you open the door and if it’s not someone you know you can send a message through your phone saying you’re not interested/not home.

@Sharnee yes usually we check but this time, never. So annoying
