Formula night feeds

I’ve just started introducing formula feeding for night wake ups. Can I pre-make a bottle before I go to bed and store it in the fridge to then warm up in the middle of the night when my LO wakes up? Or should I be making a bottle once he’s awake, although that would mean I would have to wait a while for the water to cool down after boiling and risk him screaming for longer. Thanks x

Yes, bottles that go in the fridge need to be used within 24hrs. Alternatively, the rapid cool doing the hot shot method would work x

Tommee tippee rapid cool - works a treat!

My boy takes bottles of 210ml normally. For his night feed he wakes between 3 and 5 so I take 2X 90ml in a bottle and a hot flask. Enough hot water for the morning bottle too x

Rapid cool!! It’s a game changer x

Hot shot better for me than the Nuby rapid cool 😉

@Hayley pls explain the hot shot method. So far I've just been keeping a hot water in flask and make bottle, cool it down in a bowl of cold water. Usually by the time it's night feeds the flask is at a decent temperature anyway.
