@Abi what dose is your baby on and what is their weight? Xx my little girl is 9lb 12 and is on 5mg daily x
My son is 9lbs 8 and on 10mg a day. He has silent reflux ...Our consultant said it can take a month to see a change.... I'm a week in and I still have a very irritable baby. However my first son had worse vomiting reflux not silent... And he improved within about 72 hrs đ so who knows? X
@Alanna it's so frustrating isn't it ;( we definitely need a higher dose then! The doctors are so reluctant to increase to much it's so annoying. Does your LO cry a lot? My baby is constantly crying I'm at my wits end âšď¸
@Olivia 8lb 3 and has one dissolvable tablet in water and the 2.6ml of that water in a bottle x
It took a few days for the Omeprazole to make a difference to my wee girl. Are you giving it at the same time as you give a bottle? I was always told to give it to her then leave it a minimum of 30 minutes before giving a bottle. I noticed a difference if I didnât give it at least 30 minutes before she had her bottle x
@Rachel only a few days? Im 11 days in with no change ;(
It took about 6 days for us to see some improvement
@Olivia yeah definitely only a few days for usđI would go back to your GP and say itâs not making any difference and see if they can help out? X
@Olivia Yes my little one at the moment is non stop irritated and crying. He has silent reflux. But gaining weight well. However my older son had obvious vomiting reflux but never cried very much at all! I was more concerned because of the amount of vomiting and he lost weight. I don't think he would've even flinched about the reflux. They are just so different.
@Alanna that the same as my little girl. Fingers crossed we see something positive soon xx
in same boat, not on high dosage tho but two days in and no difference, lmk wat people say x
