Stress or breastfeeding neck back shoulder overall pain

My son is turning 1 tomorrow but I feel like my body hasn’t fully recovered from the pain from breastfeeding pumping or really giving birth. Anyone else feel tension in their neck back shoulders and pelvic floor? I’m doing yoga 2x a week, daily stretches and resting a lot since my son sleeps through the night now but it still hurts…not looking for solutions just seeing if anyone else can relate? Does this go away or does it get worse with more kids?

I feel this 100%

I had horrendously bad shoulder and lower back pains I went to a couple of massages and it’s gotten so much better it’s still there but at least I can move without making old lady noises.

Not to discourage you but it gets worse with more kids lol BUT I feel you!! My body was in BAD shape after I had my first but started working out regularly after about 15m of giving birth (I just couldn’t get myself to do it before that and had put on a lot of weight) and just knew that working out will definitely make me feel better and I did. Also massages are a really way to release those tense muscles so try that! Your neck and back area hurts the most coz of the constant carrying baby , sitting in the breastfeeding/pumping position so many times a day so it’s natural but your body does eventually recover when you stop carrying baby around so much so I wanna say after about 2-3yrs lol! Also happy birthday to the little guy!! And congrats to you for making it through the first year 🎉

Definitely relate. My little girl is nearly 8 months and my back feels like it’s been ripped to shreds. I wake up with back pain, but it does feel better after stretching/massage. Think it’s just the norm after all the stress your body has gone through!
