@Ashley I have no idea. I don't even know what features to look for. I want a built-in grinder to grind fresh beans and a milk frother, but consider those pretty standard. What features should I look for/consider?
@Audrey I was just asking because I had one with all the bells and whistles and used it for about a month and stopped and it was just another thing taking space in my kitchen 🫣🫠 ended up selling it on marketplace 😆🤦🏻♀️
@Ashley maybe that's where I should look lol I've used one before working at a restaurant, so I know the basics, and I'm not trying to replicate any fancy coffeeshop drinks so maybe I'll avoid too many features. I just want it to make a solid espresso to build a good latte or cappuccino from :)
I don’t know of any BF sales right now, BUT we have the Breville Barista Express (the one you have pictured) and we LOVE it! 😄 It gets used at least once a day.
I have this exact breville machine. We love it, been using it for about 8 years now!
Now I have to Google lens to find it, I just grabbed a random pic that looked like a decent one 😄
I’ll save you the time- I googled it for ya lol: Breville Stainless Steel Barista Express Espresso Machine Light Silver BES870XL: 15 Bars Pressure, Milk Frother, Grinder
It's a bit pricey but we got this one for Christmas a few years ago and love it. It's fully automatic which is nice. The Philips brand has several versions with varying price points. PHILIPS 3200 Series Fully Automatic Coffee Machine - 5 Delicious Coffees, LatteGo Milk System, Durable Ceramic Grinders, Intuitive Touch Display, Glossy Black (EP3241/54) https://a.co/d/hs9kzMa
I’ve had this one for over 5 years now and I will say it works great but I would get a separate grinder, the grinder on these suck. Some of them now come with a baratza grinder now since breville bought them out & those are much, much better if you want a built in. Breville also bought out Lelit so depending on your budget you could also look at the Mara or Bianca.
What features do you think you’ll use the most?
