Eat more, drink more.. coconut water helps with hydration and energyā¦ skin to skin.. let your baby nurse more and pump after youāve already nursed. Eat oats. Take supplements like prenatal supplements. Try making smoothies if youāre not feeling up for a meal especially with spinach, great way to get nutrients fast..
@Tiaura smoothies reminded me, there's something called brewers yeast that you can get too and put a tablespoon in your smoothie. It's supposed to increase milk, I have that every morning.
first of all, iām so sorry! youāre not alone tho, make sure youāre eating enough fat and protein dense foods, your calorie intake needs to go up a lot. itās so hard to try to take care of ourselves when weāre taking care of a little human. make or buy drinks that make it easy to stay hydrated, i get sick of water so gatorade, liquid IV, coconut water, anything else with electrolytes will help with dehydration and that nausea feeling. eat lots of oats as it can promote lactation. i used the legendairy supplements with my first and it helped give a boost to my supply, be wary of fenugreek tho because it can have the opposite effect on some women and actually cause their supply to drop instead of increase. also have you met up with or reached out to a lactation consultant? they were a good send in the first weeks with my son and helped provide lots of guidance and advice. youāre doing great!

Girl you probably need to eat and drink more, that's the only thing that will help. I've been eating like I'm starved constantly, every 2-3hours I have something and my hospital bottle is always filled with water, drinking twice as much now too. Also any other liquids you can get in you, my friend swears by body armor. She has 3 kids (most recent 11/1) and she's nursed them all to 2 years old. I know it's rough but you got this ā¤ļø
