@Nicole why is that? This is the way we’re sleeping as it’s easiest way to put her down but just wondered if either ways better
I think she mentioned it's so you can supervise them better. She didnt really go into too much detial she just said make sure that the feet is towards you. My daughter is nearly 6 months now and this was when we just came out of hospital as a new born that she gave me this information.
My little ones 11 weeks and sleeps head way same as me in his next to me was never told any different, also I can reach for the dummy easier 🤣xx
Mine sleeps the same way as me, because the next to me is between the bed and the wall, so it's the only way to pick him up/put him down from standing 😅 the other way would probably be easier if I was to pick him up from the bed. Also this way I only need to move down a little bit to get to his head, otherwise I would have to sit up every time.
Whatever was easier at the time! When she was going through a stage of losing her dummy and fussing, it was head the same way. Other than that, top and tail as it was easier to pick her up after my section. Honestly, it doesn’t make any odds and just do what you prefer. There’s no one way better than the other as a general rule, it’s just personal preference 😊
A health visitor advised me that babies should have their feet towards you so top and tailing. This is how I have been sleeping with my baby.
