idk what to do
my son’s father (ex bf?) has gone no-contact with me…it’s now been over a week. he doesn’t answer my calls and hasn’t sent any money or provided any support with our child. idk how long this will last but i’m at a loss because before he disappeared i thought we were in a decent place. we never officially broke up but this feels like the end of our relationship. i don’t want him to be a deadbeat.
All that you can do is control your communication on your end. I know that it’s frustrating to feel like he might not want anything to do with you or the child but if this falls into a month or two months, I would personally take legal action and get full custody. Doesn’t mean that he’s a deadbeat probably just too immature and not ready to be a father, but you need to know that your son is well provided for.
