Why do you smoke/ingest and what's your experience?

I have a med card for chronic pain. I sometimes use for anxiety too because it slows my thoughts. Pros are my muscles relax and my thoughts slow down, yet I get very philosophical šŸ˜ con is that I get munchies bad and also slack on cleaning lolll

Pros for me are it helps me destress and just truly enjoy the present moment. I have anxiety and adhd so it feels like it actually quiets my overactive mind to a normal state Cons are that itā€™s not healthy for me to rely on to relax because itā€™s a quick fix and thereā€™s healthier coping mechanisms that I abandon when becoming too reliant on it. During the phases of life where I smoked or took an edible on a daily or even every other day type of basis I wasnā€™t getting as much done in life lol also sometimes it would actually cause me more anxiety and paranoia weirdly.. maybe it was the type of weed I donā€™t know but for me I prefer edibles because thereā€™s no smell and Iā€™m a runner so I need my lungs šŸ˜‚ and Iā€™ve found itā€™s best for my mental health to partake occasionally but not habitually (although Iā€™m pregnant rn so I donā€™t at all)

Pros for me really out weigh cons. Pros; I get an appetite at all! I get more intrinsically motivated to do things in general, I have a greater capacity to stay emotionally regulated, helps with chronic pain, an added bonus is it forces me to drink more fluids more consistently LOL Cons; another monthly expense we budget for

@Autumn see I'm with you that when I partake daily I just don't get enough done!! But when I have it on hand, it's so hard for me to resist because of the instant relax! What other ways have you found to relax?

@Parker 又 that's awesome! I wish I got motivation from it. I lose my motivation as soon as I smoke unfortunately, just forces me to lay down and relax
