Same! Both my cats became very snuggly at 26 weeks. One more than the other, he will literally try anything to sit on my knee 😅
Dogs definitely sense things for sure. My dog is clingy anyway but it’s 100x more when I’m pregnant 😂 He’s also started weeing/pooing in the house which he did during my last pregnancy too 🥴
My female cat, who generally ignored me (loves my husband), became much more affectionate as soon as I became pregnant. She's not so much now but she's still definitely friendlier than she was.
@Chloe that’s interesting because Stans started seeing and pooing in the bathroom! I didnt put it together
My usually affectionate but independent jack russell doesn't leave my side now, hardly eats and is also sometimes pooping in the house 🙃 basically separation anxiety x100 when I'm pregnant, bless her 🥹
I thought my dog sensed a change initially but he now completely oblivious! He’s going to get a shock fairly soon! 🤣
with my first the morning I went into labour our frenchie wouldn’t leave me alone it was the biggest reason I called the hospital honestly & thankgod i listened to her because the baby was in my arms in less than 4 hours😂
It’s so strange with my first pregnancy I remember my dog became really clingy (was clingy before but then when I got pregnant didn’t actually want to know me was all about my husband) I got to third trimester and she wouldn’t leave me alone. Hasn’t quite been as clingy this time just acting unusual will cry if I go out of the house etc.
My dog was very clingy and followed me everywhere when I was very early pregnancy but now he’s same as always! Looks indignant when bump kicks him 😂
32 weeks mine are like leaches can’t move an inch without them being on top of me 😂 I thought I’d just gave them treats and they suddenly loved me 😂
Yes! I have a cat who typically couldn’t care less about me that cuddles up now … since about 26 weeks - now (almost 30)
