Cervical Mucus

Before having my 3rd I use to have excessive amount of CM now after breastfeeding for going on 2.5 months cycle came back at 18m pp, no discharge or mucus. Is that normal?? I’m taking metformin 750 er to help with getting my ovulation on time. I’m on cycle 10 of trying.
