Early morning active sleep

My little one has always had a period of active sleep at around 5am that is incredibly noisy. I used to take her into bed and breastfeed her and she'd resettle. I'm no longer bfing now and for a while she was still settling once I brought her into bed and we'd cosleep for an hour or two until we were ready to get up. But at the moment nothing I do seems to settle her. We've tried leaving her in the cot but she is so active and makes crying sounds even though her eyes are shut and ends up waking herself up really early. I've tried bringing her into bed but she just thrashes around kicking and hitting me so I can't sleep. The only way she settles is if I sit up in bed holding her. At least that way she'll sleep til 7 but I'm still up at 5:30 unable to sleep. I tried waking her to feed her or change but then she's wide awake and won't go back to sleep until her wake window is up. Is there anything else I could try or am I just doomed to 5am starts now??

What time are you putting her down in the evening? Could you delay bedtime by 30 mins ?

She's already going to bed around 8:30, but even on nights where she's stayed up late she still seems to do this at the same time!

My LO is doing something similar atm, he doesn't want to be put in his cot or even Co sleep from 4/5am so I have to sit up and hold him whilst he sleeps and he also sleeps around 8/8:30pm.

My older one used to do that at that age. I know how it feels! Have you tried putting your baby down while she's in a deeper sleep, so after 20 mins? Sometimes it was working for me so worth a try if you haven't yet.

@Bahar I tried that this morning and it didn't work but I'll keep trying/waiting longer for her to be deeper asleep
