Transitioning into own bedroom

So my little one is almost 6 months old (šŸ„¹) I am planning on beginning the transition from her next to me into her own bed in her own room. We have for the past month or so done nap times in her cot in her room to begin the process (unless of course we are out and about). I am just wondering if thereā€™s any tips or tricks to the whole overnight transition. My little one doesnā€™t like to be swaddled, but is constantly waking herself up by moving to much in her next to me, she doesnā€™t self soothe yet so if anyone has any tips for this also Iā€™d appreciate it. Xx

Have you got sleeping bags? I really overthought the transition (might have sobbed once or 7 times the first night), but she just took to it straight away! She couldn't care less šŸ˜‚

@Phoebe I do yes, she used to settle really well with a sleeping bag but now doesnā€™t seem to like it and I donā€™t know if itā€™s because she likes to sleep on her side and finds it hard to be on her side in one x

Aw that's a shame! We have a nebula projector we bought from Amazon that gets our little one all sleepy if that's any use. We project it above her while she's in the cot and put lullabies on Alexa quietly šŸ˜Šx
