I don’t think there much you can specifically do. I would just let him do what he wants in a way. My son is pretty good at night but at nap we go in there just very rarely sometimes he’ll sometimes sleep and sometimes he won’t. I would make sure his room is safe and kid proof and let him get out and back in as he wants. Don’t go in there unless he’s still awake after like hours. But I’d just let him learn to be independent. That has helped us a bit. I would tell him it’s Bed time don’t get out of bed you need to sleep but I wouldn’t go in there
When you return him to his bed, give him zero attention or acknowledgment. Just silently take his hand, place him back in bed and leave. Don’t say anything at all.
sometimes we all sleep together, some nights she agrees to sleep alone by herself, some nights 1of us sleep beside her while the other sleeps in a different room or living room. we haven’t slept well every night too but some nights we get lucky.
