elevated progesterone levels day before trigger?

hi all. i am wondering whether anyone has any experience of this at all please? my progesterone levels were tested yesterday and were 3.7nmol/L (equivalent to 1.16ng/L which I think are the units used in the US and in lots of the stuff i’ve been reading). I am due to trigger tonight. My clinic don’t seem concerned by these levels and say they would need to be 4nmol/L (1.25ng/L) before they considered a freeze all rather than fresh transfer, but from the reading i’ve done, it seems to be widely thought that even less elevated levels of progesterone can impact the success of a fresh transfer. has anyone experienced this? what were your levels? what did your clinic recommend? thank you! x

Alot of clinics don't even test progesterone for ec or transfer so I am sure if they were worried they would have said something to you.

thank you. they only tested because a have a particularly big follicle which is a risk factor for elevated levels x

Never heard of an issue with raised progesterone levels I think it is usually raised estrogen levels that create a risk of OHSS and needing a freeze all.

My clinic tested the estrogen for egg retrieval. Due to my estrogen levels being high, i had a freeze all due to being at risk for OHSS. If your clinic is saying your levels are okay, then I would trust them.

raised progesterone at trigger can make your lining less receptive to implantation

My progesterone has been sky high for both my successful transfers
