We started with home made beef bone broth, then ground meat, and today started on steak strips to gum on!
We just used unsalted grass fed butter to Cook and baby loved it
@Kiki does chewing on the dogs bones count? 😂😂 do you need real bones for bone broth? It's probably a stupid question! My partner doesn't eat boned meat and buying the non dog bones can be rather expensive
@Ebony 😂😂 we buy frozen raw bones from meat shop/butcher and throw them in crock pot on low for 18 hours! It’s like $13 for almost 2lbs! Makes a ton and you can freeze to add into veggie purées as well:)
You can also buy roast chicken and use those bones after your husband eats the meat!
Haven’t got any advice but just wanted to say how refreshing it is to see someone not force their own ways onto their children! I’ve seen a lot of vegetarians forcing their child to follow their diet and honestly think it should be up to the child themselves so fair play! ☺️
Bone marrow (whisk it because a lovely cream), poached chicken and any meat, salmon, eggs etc
I'm exactly the same veggie but my partner isn't, so far little man has loved various mashed fish and blended chicken stew going to try for some chunkier meat next week as he prefers to feed himself I've just been a bit nervous
Strips of chicken or steak two fingers wide. They will suck the juices out initially but over time begin to take bits off. Something like a drumstick is also good for them. Solid Starts app has good advice.
I’m doing the same for my little boy but no clue what to buy 🙃 other half eats what I eat so we don’t really buy meat. He just gets a kebab etc if we get a takeout or when we go out to eat… its sooo hard
Cook / boil chicken with spices like Turmeric but no added salt. Mix with rice to a mashed consistency and give? Same can be done with meat , fish, salmon etc and you can add veg into this too
