I’d be interested to know if magnesium helps aswell. We are currently in the same position of not sleeping through the night since transitioning into toddler bed from the cot a few weeks back. I also think this is combined with her dropping her day nap but still insisting on getting up anywhere between 4:30-5:30am. This past week Iv stopped taking her out the room when she woke and resettled her in her bed and stayed with her till she fell back to sleep, as like you if she was in our bed she would sleep straight away but I wouldn’t get any. The resettling in her bed has gone from an hour (on and off) to last night only being one waking and about 2 minutes to resettle. Hoping that is a sign of things to come tonight and going forward Iv also found that the nights I sprayed calming pillow spray (when she was in her cot) she didn’t sleep through but when I didn’t spray it she did. It’s like she didn’t like it so had the opposite effect on her
@Natalie he used to sleep from 2 to 4pm and go to sleep at 22/23 in the night after the 2yo check they told us to cut the nap in the afternoon and put him to sleep at 7/8 max
The waking up may be cos you've suddenly gone from 10/11 to 7/8 I would have done it step by step. 15 mins at a time for a few days then carried on until you got to where you wanted. I would have kept the nap but changed the timings personally. If he was still doing 2 hours he clearly needs it. This could be another reason for the wakings cos he's overtired by bedtime. What is the full day timings?

Mighty kids do magnesium for under 3year olds. I definitely have noticed a change in my boys sleep, he used to wake nearly every hour! I had also tried everything else, but after a month of using the magnesium, my boy goes down at 8pm ish -5am then had a nappy change and sometimes wants a milk and goes back down until 7:30/8(not sure if it’s really the magnesium that’s helped or he’s just suddenly sleeping).Which is soo much better than the hour wake up calls for the last 2years! But I won’t give up the magnesium now 🤣. X
@Clarissa thank you for this was very helpful where do u buy them from please?
It’s online google mighty kids and have a look on their website xx
Does he nap? If so at what time? It is developmentally normal to wake in the night until 4. My daughter sleeps in her own room but when she is struggling I go get in her bed instead of bringing her to mine.
