Does anyone else not like their baby being passed around?

Baby girl is 12 weeks old and I dread family functions because I know it breaks up her routine and I feel like I'm judged for always having her on me (even when taking her somewhere else to breastfeed). My family understand and don't pressure but I feel like my partners family do, I try so hard to bite my tongue! I get they probably think they are helping with giving me time to do others bits but it's not I'm literally on edge the whole time she's away from me. Rant over , anyone else feel the same or have any advice?

Same!! It puts me on edge!! 🙃

Same! I'm honestly so worried about thanksgiving this year because we're not even visiting mine or my fiance's family but instead spending it with my fiance's friend (her godfather) and HIS family. Her godfather and his family are just as "rough" as me when playing with her but when they do it I'm soooo anxious and not ready to deal with that for a whole day so I'm tempted to just baby wear the whole time 😅

I just made it very clearly that no one was holding my baby. I let them touch her hand but only after washing their hands.

@Terra hand washing has been a must for me whether it's a family gathering or just someone stopping by. I'm so paranoid about my daughter getting sick, especially during this season.

I'm exactly the same, I just say it straight and tell them she's a person not a doll and she wants her mum. If she reaches her arms out to someone then I'll pass her over but as soon as she cries she's coming back to me! You're allowed to have boundaries around your children and noone is entitled to a cuddle ❤️

I’m more than happy to pass my baby over and not see him all night and let them crack on with it 😂 this is what family/friends are for in my opinion x

I’ve never passed my baby around. I’m the wicked witch 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Don’t let anyone make you feel any kind of way about YOUR child.

Same here my bfs family loves to take him away from me and stressed me outttt.
