In desperate need of advice 🥲

How are yall cleaning & washing your 2yr olds???? My toddler is going through a phase where she doesn’t want any diaper changes, and poop gets stuck in her private area and she doesn’t let me clean. Even at school she’s really difficult with the teachers even with words of affirmation. So I try my best to clean during bath time but it’s kinda difficult then too. I don’t even know if I’m doing it correctly either. I don’t have a tub so I’ve been using the same mesh seat she’s had since she was a baby and just sit her there and rinse water on her. Do you guys have any tips or hacks? Thank you

Have you tried any steps towards potty training yet? And for baths what about an inflatable tub in the shower or kiddie pool?

I second potty training. It can be a rough transition but if she's absolutely hating diaper changes, I think it's time to ditch them! We did big little feelings potty course (and it's on sale right now ☺️)

Genital cleaning is not optional over here. That can cause terrible infections. She protests sometimes but I wipe her anyway. You can try giving her your phone or a candy or something while you wipe the poop but it has to be done whether she likes it or not.

My girl is going through a phase again of refusing baths or letting me wash her hair. I've had to give her "sponge baths" for the past 4 bath nights. Not many suggestions to give, but distract with your phone or video or like others as said potty training. When cleaning her, just a wet warm cloth and wipe front to back is all you need to do. You don't need to "get in deep".
