Returning Amazon gifts

For my baby shower, i was very blessed with getting most things on my registry. I’ve gotten three things that i never used because i stayed in my bubble longer than i thought or did things old school way (learned from mom). I don’t want to give them away for free because they’re new and i could use the money for buying more clothes, wipes, diapers for my LO. How could i go about this since i don’t have the receipt?

Hey there Tatiana! I was told that you have up to a year to be able to return anything on your registry.

@Samantha i did my registry through Babylist but the gift specifically were from Amazon, how could i return with no receipt? Thanks for any info

I think just put them up on Fb marketplace. Or another platform to sell.

You can contact customer service and explain your situation and they may make an exception. I was in the same situation and it took some explaining but they gave me return codes in the end

thank you ladies!

You 365 days from purchase date to return presents people bought you but if you bought presents off your registry you have 90 days. You go on Amazon to your registry and hit returns & thank you and you hit return and it’ll send you a QR code to return item:)

@Mikayla my registry wasn’t on Amazon but through Babylist. I tried talking to Amazon and they said it’s been longer than 60-90 days so i couldn’t?? Maybe i should try with a different person if I’m understanding that when you buy from Amazon it should be a year?

May I ask the ones who have done it, if you return a gift, does the refund go into the buyers account or the receiver account? Does the buyer get notified?

You could try to find a local buy-nothing mom group on facebook and trade the items for items you do need! 🩷 or just straight up sell them on fb marketplace

try vinted x
