TTC after nexplanon removal

Hi, so I’ve had the nexplanon implant for 6-7 years and decided to finally have it removed this year 23/05/24. I’ve read up online that some people can get pregnant as soon as a month afterwards or longer but it can vary. I was just wondering how long others have taken after being on it? I had a chemical pregnancy sadly in July ❤️‍🩹

I was on it for 2.5 years and it took me 7 months conceive but we miscarried the first time and then 2 months later I found out I was pregnant again so 9 months in total x

It took me 7 months as well after having it 3 years 🙂

@Julia was your cycles regular after having it out?

@LeAynne did your periods go back to normal straight away after the removal? Or?

First month was irregular and afterwards it was fine x

Sorry I didn't see the notification! I don't remember exactly I think it took about 2 months, like I didn't get what should have been the first period until like 6ish weeks after removal. And they were abnormal the entire time we were ttc, they were shorter than they had been and more time in between. I also found out I had a problem with low progesterone using proov after a few months of the abnormal but I have no idea if that had anything to do with nexplanon, just figured I'd mention it cause it's actually a pretty common reason people take a while to get pregnant
