Vital baby uv steriliser

Is anyone able to help? I’ve got the vital baby UV steriliser and am trying to get bottles and dummies clean and sterilised before baby comes Tuesday (C section booked although I’m not convinced they won’t be here by the morning the rate contractions are going!) I’m getting myself really confused and stressed regarding what parts of the bottle needs to be dismantled before sterilising and how to keep sterile once the steriliser has finished. I have both the tommee tippee anti-colic ones and the MAM ones. If anyone can talk me through the do’s and dont’s, I’d be very grateful as I’m getting myself in an unnecessary state and the pictures on the manuals aren’t helping. Thanks, from one very hormonal and stressed mumma to be x

I have the vital baby uv steriliser. All bottle parts need to be washed and sterlised. The 'A' button dries and sterlises the bottles, and the uv button just sterlises the bottles if they are air dry. The bottles stay sterlised for 24 hours if you do not open the lid. Once the lid is opened, the bottles must be made and used within 24 hours. There is a just dry function. That''s the button with what looks like a fan on it. The other button is the store mode that dries and sterilises the bottles and activates the uv led every hour. Hope this helps x

@Tahmina this is super helpful, thank you. Do bottles need to come apart completely? At the bottom there’s a plastic edge, a rubber seal inside, the actual bottle, the plastic bit at the top which the teat clicks into, the teat, the click and the anti colic tube on some of them with the star at the bottom. Does this all need to be put in separately? And is it right that none of it can be touching? Also, when bottles come out the dishwasher, do they need to be sterilised straight away or can they go in the cupboard and then just be sterilised as and when? Thanks again xx

Yes, I'm afraid as tedious as it sounds all parts need to be separated and cleaned. They then need to be air dried, I find this works best. Putting them in wet leaves watermarks and makes me paranoid. Once cleaned in the dishwasher, no they can be stored and put in the uv steriliser when needed. Xx

@Tahmina that’s brilliant, thank you so much ♥️ xx

No worries at all x
