If you sent him to your sister in laws/mom or whoever would he eat what they serve? Sometimes kids know exactly what to do to make caregivers give in. If this is only a habit with you I would be more firm. As a teacher I’ve seen kids eat things “they would never eat at home” because it was the option presented.
@Jenneca I’m a primary school teacher and have been for 12 years so I’ve seen it too. No he won’t eat most things anywhere, for anyone. He’s just so fussy 😔 I have tried every trick in the book and it really gets me down when people make comments that imply it’s my fault, it really pisses me off. Just because they haven’t experienced it themselves, they think they’re a better parent 🙈
Shocked by how many of you have put ‘I am one of them’ ! Maybe try reevaluating yourself because it’s not a good trait to have!!
My mother in law said that happened to one of her kids . They were a great eater then wouldn't eat anything. She said she'd just feed them whatever they would eat, even if it meant going back to baby purees just so they would get fed and they eventually went back to eating normal food. You're doing your best mumma. Keep up the great work and don't let the haters get you down. X
I'm not sure how old your little boy is but I'm sure it all will click one day z
