Cows milk

Are we weaning gradually or going straight to cows milk from birthday onwards? I have no idea what to do, he’s been having it in his breakfast and I’ve used it to cook since 6 months but the boy loves his formula and is on 3 bottles a day 😊 any tips from Mum’s who have already done it? Thanks x

It’s entirely up to you .. you can mix it with their formula if you want to and gradually reduce the amount of formula in it.. or just go straight for it! I haven’t done it yet but when this formula tin runs out I will prob go for it 😅

Our formula ran out so we have just gone for the straight swap today! She had one bottle and took it no bother🙈 hoping it continues 🤞🏻 x

Our babe doesn’t mind the taste of cows milk we went half and half but she has really struggled to poop causing her pain so keeping it half and half til that’s eased x

I swapped 1 bottle per day of cows milk until formula ran out, now on it fully and shes been absolutely fine.

@N L try some prune pouches for when shes stuck, they help massively :-)

Just a friendly PSA regarding the cows milk swap btw. Make sure you grab some of the baby vitamins to put into the cows milk . Wellbaby is a good one :-)

We just did straight swap he’s been fine toilet wise and didn’t even notice and drinks it all xx
