Help? Advice?

So my/my families mental health issues has been passed onto my child. 😢 Any advice on what to do or steps to take after you, your child’s doctor and pharmacy have all been fighting insurance for a mental health prescription for a 5 year old and insurance won’t budge because of age alone?? She was in a child psychiatric urgent care almost 2 weeks ago now and I’ve been fighting for her meds since. If she was a couple years older they would approve it no problem… I’m at a loss and I can’t afford it every month out of pocket. I called insurance this morning upset and told them how is this not discrimination mental health can be caught early now why won’t you help? Idk what else to do.
