We're doing the same. All presents are from Santa and then family. None from us
My family used to do same, 1 present and stocking from santa rest from my mum! Which is what I will be doing x
Santa fills the stocking and gives one medium size present, we give the big one
Me and my OH have very different christmas experiences. This year we are doing a stocking from santa and the bigger/ more expensive gifts from us. We both grew up with this but the amount in the stocking was our main different so we are meeting in the middle for quantity. Plus my 3yr old doesn't know what he wants. I think this is because he has everything he needs!!!
I don't specify what's from who
A few small presents from Santa (chocolate coins, travel game, something small they asked for) all other presents from us or family.
We don’t necessarily specify who’s from who but our general rule is stocking is from Santa and the rest are from us and family. But this year we did a list to Santa and she chose 3 things so they will go in the stocking from Santa x

Everything is from Santa I told my eldest we sent money to Santa for the presents and I tell my little one the same :)
1 from Santa, the rest from family and friends. It would also explain to the kid why some kids get lots of gift and why some only 1.
When I grew up everything was from Santa & then a present from grandparents, aunt/uncle. Nothing from mum & dad lol. But my childhood around Christmas was magical and the older you get obviously you realise it was all from mum and dad so I’m doing the same with my little, it’s all about Santa
