12 weeks pp and still haven't 🤣🤣
I had an episiotomy, at 8 weeks I was able to big that was after massaging the scar lots, using lube, and there's still minimal pain with initial penetration at 10 weeks now but once we're into it, it's fine. Don't rush it, and make sure you test the waters yourself first so to say lol, just to gauge the pain etc
I had 1st degree episiotomy and we have tried sex for first time once 6 weeks gone. Tbf it wasn't the best, I've felt a bit of discomfort in the cut area. Around 12 weeks it stopped bothering me. You can try slowly with plenty of lube once you will feel ready (the best wait at least 6 weeks). And then you will decide if its OK for you or not ;)
We tried after 8 weeks PP. the episiotomy scar had healed over but there was still a lot tenderness around the area especially when sitting. Gave it some more time until the tenderness was gone so roughly about 14 weeks for me.
