Ttc for 5 years and we always use ovulation tests and I'd say Patience and enjoy the journey best wishes
@Maria yes I was taking them two times a day and I just went down to one time since I was getting such low readings. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong if anything to be honest. I did morning and evening. Not necessarily at the same time every day though.
Are your cycles pretty regular? It could be that maybe you haven’t ovulated yet? You could also try another form of tracking, I’ve had better luck doing bbt but that doesn’t really tell you when you’re about to ovulate, just that you did ovulate
@Maria yes my cycles are 29 days. The only thing off this month was the spotting. I’ve never had that before. Today the line was barely even noticeable on the ovulation test so something was going on. To be honest I was wondering- my .58 looked pretty spot on and I was wondering if it could have just been bad lighting? It’s so frustrating when you want something so bad, such a little window to get it, and you think you got it right and it’s not working. 😞
Do you have a picture of it? Sometimes the Premom app (not sure if that’s what you’re using) isn’t the best at analyzing the color difference
@Maria yes and I’m sorry cd 15 was .58. My mistake
And then this tiny spike again.. so weird!
I think cd 15 might be your peak… you can manually edit the color ratio in the app. If you swipe to the left on the test a little edit pencil will show up next to the number… if you click on that you can input the color yourself
@Maria can you tell me what you would recommend as far as editing that color? ….. I’m color blind when it comes to shades of the same color. And thank you so so much I didn’t know you could do that. I didn’t want to mess anything up in case it wasn’t my peak, but I haven’t gotten anything darker than that
I think so! I would just start the TWW from then with ovulation happening on 11/16 I think!
You could definitely keep testing just in case though
@Maria thank you so so very much. I really truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I didn’t even know those things were an option. And I really struggle with the darker shades they all look the same to me lol. I still have some hope now 🤞🏻
Of course!! This whole process is so frustrating and stressful! I hope you get your positive soon 🩷🩷
What was your test like on CD 14? Just curious

What is going on with my body ughhhh 😫
Yeah, unfortunately, none of those are positive ovulation tests. Have you confirmed you are ovulating with basal body temping or a blood test? If you know you are for sure ovulating, then I'd suggest taking the ovulation tests more frequently/multiple times a day to try to catch a peak. But also if your cycles are extremely reliable at 29 days and you know you are ovulating then the chances are very high that you are ovulating on or around cycle day 15. Jusy have sex every day or every other day between cycle days 12 and 16
I agree with basal body temping. To confirm you are ovulating. And frequent sex starting around 18 days before your period is expected
I'm 36 and trying for my first, it's taken me a whole year. My gyno stated and continues to tell me as a reminder that it takes an average couple that has frequent intercourse 12 months to fall pregnant. Of course other factors fall into place as well. Take in easy on yourself😊
@Stephanie thank you for the kind words. I started bleeding last night requiring a light tampon. I’m considering it a period, it’s heavy enough. I have no idea what’s going on. I’m 6 days early. Another weird thing, usually before my period my breasts get so unbelievably sore and they aren’t sore at all. Maybe I just didn’t ovulate this month. 😞
@Alyson my boobs also get sore after ovulation and before my periods. While it's common, it's not normal. It's a hormone imbalance. It's possible you didn't ovulate like you said. Or it's possible that your hormones changed and possibly balanced out, getting rid of that sore breasts symptom. Maybe if you've changed anything while ttc, it could have changed your hormones. The new spotting suggests a shift too. Idk if it's common, but since ttc, I've noticed my body doing things it never has before, along with stop doing things it used to do.
Sending you hugs! Ovulation sticks can be tricky to get the hand of and I think there’s definitely a learning curve, at least when I started using them! Are you just testing once a day? I’d suggest trying to test at least 2-3 times a day, especially in the afternoon! It’s totally possible you’re just missing your peak if you’re testing just once a day
