I agree I think it's likely a phase! It's so frustrating because I feel like I put all this effort into a mealtime for her to either refuse it or love it and want more than I've made, 9 times out of 10 I wait until her mouths open then shove the spoon in and she loves it then give her some sort of biscuit or bread to hold as well... I know they say food before 1 is just for fun but my baby literally hates milk so it really affects her sleep and mood if she doesn't eat enough!
I completely understand you, it is so frustrating. I'm doing exactly the same give him some finger food so he is distracted and when stick spoon in his mouth. It works until he holds something in his hand once it's dropped his mouth is right shut. I am thinking about concentrating on LED food but it takes forever to prepare with the little time I've got it is always a worry that he is not eating enough! God help us! You are not on your own at least..😊
Hi there I have the same problem. My son is 9 months old and all of the sudden he refuses to eat. I have to distract him so he will open a month and when I just shuffle food in which he doesn't mind, but is hard work! He prefers holding food in his hand, absolutely hates any form of spoon feeding. He was a good eater at around 6 and 7 months. Not anymore, though I hope it is just a phase and it will pass..
