Weaning

My little girl has loved puréed foods, but since starting her on more textured foods suitable for her age (7months onwards) meal times have been awful! She refuses to have it. She has breakfast, and tea with a pudding at the minute, she doesn’t seem interested at lunch time (took a while for her to enjoy breakfast) What can I do? She has finger foods such as crisps, cucumber etc but hates the transition onto lumpier meals

Just skip lumpy meals! Lumpy textures can be gross and may be making her gag? I’d just go on to proper foods like pasta and such. Giving lumpy foods is not a necessity, solids(not puree) are good after 6 months !

My son didn’t even like purées let alone lumpier ones. I went straight into BLW and it worked a treat

@Lydia @Yasmin I’m so paranoid! Wouldn’t even know where to start, or what to give!!

Go on sold starts online, you don’t have to pay for the subscription or anything. Whatever you’re having for dinner just search it and it’ll tell you how to safely serve it to a baby her age

Definitely start with vegetables as if you go sweet first they’ll tend to not want to eat them then! What I did was a veg a day for 2 weeks. After that I started on proper meals
