Traveling international from Sf with baby plant based milk TSA

Have anyone travel with the individual carton of milk in Sf airport and didn’t have any trouble? I know we are allowed to bring it because is medically necessary but I have tried to reach TSA and and they are not very specific, they said I am allowed to bring it but I have seen videos that needs to be in clear bottle and the one we are bringing is is carton, in TikTok I have watched videos and some moms said that depends on the airport, we are bringing 12 units, did you guys have to transfer it to a clear bottle or you were able to bring it in the original package? No you don’t have to. I’d it’s closed then you’re good and if it was open then they would just test it but holding like a strip above it. But usually they just look and make sure. Just let them know you have it for your baby.

I have flown with those exact milk boxes when my son was a year old. You can bring them but they opened each box and poured out a tiny bit to chemical test….. sucked because once they get opened you need to use them right away especially since you can’t refrigerate. Now I just bring one for the flight and grab more once I arrive at my destination.

@Heidi they opened it for you? That’s terrible and wasn’t supposed to happen. That’s a problem on their end

They did….. each individual bottle…. And it took extra long at security while holding my sleepy little one. He did drink one on the plane as well as nurse though.
