@Pascale good to know im not the only one. I thought something was wrong
Im sorry to hear that! I know its tmi but did you tear? I heard sometimes they used to do extra stitches that would leave women with pain BUT please reach out to an obgyn. Sex shouldnt be painful and something could be wrong!
It took me about a year to not feel any pain or discomfort during sex. It definetly got better but I remember a few months pp it hurt a lot too. Don’t forget your body has been through a huge adjustment and is taking time getting back to normal, your wombs is still shrinking 5 months pp and any wounds or tears etc won’t be as pliable and everything can still be tender and sore. Hope this helps
After my first I had pain for about 8 months…. Like stretching skin pain. If you don’t have sensitive skin I recommend feminine vitamin E oils—massaging is recommended. Just ask your partner for some help. It’s hard to get a good angle on yourself to stretch sensitive areas. Soft stretching nothing intense.
I went to the doctor and they gave me estrogen cream it helps to soften scar tissue and lubricate as well. We kept trying also increasing frequency to try to stretch everything out. Just used the cream for two weeks pretty much immediately went back to feeling great
Find a pelvic floor therapist. I’m nearly 2 yrs pp and can’t have sex. I started pelvic floor therapy. Everything is tight my therapist said.
Following as experiencing pain too
