@Emma thank you! I'm sure they will be fine, and I know it was 5 years ago 😂, but I'm such a worrier. It's helped knowing you've been on them. Ryan is...distracted easily by his friends, and still remembers his fear from when he was on his own so needs security in big crowds. His school haven't done any trips except a 10 minute bus ride away for his year so far. I just need someone to talk me out of my anxious moment as I can't wait to hear all about it when he gets back! If he’s going with the school they have a duty of care to your son. I totally get you being anxious because London can be so busy. I often volunteer on school trips, they are usually looked after in small groups. Do the register several times. Your son isn’t 4 now he can recognise his safe adults and know not to stray from the group. Have a chat with him about how to keep safe. My son is just a few months younger and has done over night stays on school trips, they are trained to keep children safe.
