Breakfast ideas

I need a little help with breakfast ideas for 7 month old. He refuses anything milky like weetabix/porridge think it’s the stodgy texture as he doesn’t like lumpy purées either. He’ll happily have toast but I’d rather him have that with his lunch and it gets a little boring having that everyday. He likes yogurt but again gets boring (maybe just for me haha) I want to make sure he’s actually consuming something as most finger foods end up sucked and on the floor.

Aldi fruit porridge in pouches is very smooth, started my LO on those before increasing texture gradually. You can make fruit muffins or little omelettes in a muffin tray, they freeze very well too, takes just a few mins to reheat each morning!

he doesn’t like egg 😭 unless it’s full of cheese lol just like his mom 😂 I keep trying him with it but just gets chucked on the floor. Yeah we do just butter, peanut butter and a soft cheese but struggling on what else I could put on for him?x @Chloe

@Jess yes he does love those pouches tbh! I’ll have to google those muffins, they sounds good! Do you reheat in microwave?x

There’s some dietitians instagrams that share some good ideas (if you have IG). If not they also have dietician YouTube videos also which I found helpful before starting out 🍌🥚🥞

@Hayley brilliant thank you, I’ll have a look ☺️

In the microwave or airfryer or even under the grill. Because they're so small they don't take long at all x

U can try boiled potatoes, mashed avacado or oats porridge, some mashed banana

Banana , sweet potatoes, avocado, fruits , toast, pancake and omelette

We do baby pancakes sometimes - mashed banana, egg and a bit of flour, they're delicious and go well with yoghurt 😋

Baby pancakes 🥞 x
