just give him a little time and keep introducing foods, he's still quite young so he may just not be ready for much (: I'm in the same boat, my girl is almost 7 months and still won't even swallow any food at all. it can take several exposures to a food before they decide whether they like it or not. just keep doing what you're doing and offer food multiple times before calling it a dislike!
He is only 7 months. It’s more than normal. He will explore a lot before actually starting to eat properly. They also need to taste food many times before actually ruling out that they don’t like it. Up until they are one milk is still their primary source of nutrients.
My daughter barely ate more than a nibble in a sitting until she was 9/10 months, then something just clicked for her and she loves food now. I just kept offering food and kept trying to keep it fun and light and stress free. She was also fussy about her breast milk temp, also couldn’t ever mix breastmilk and formula or breastmilk and cows milk. Didn’t like purées or porridge made with breastmilk. So particular! Lots of stuff she turned her nose up at first she loves now and has a very healthy appetite. Some babies just need a bit more time to get there ♥️
My little girl is 7 months and before we started weaning was EBF. She started refusing breast milk from the bottle around 4 months and will only take it from her dad when she really wants it. I would suggest just keep trying all the finger foods possible like maybe a cheese sandwich or a bit of food off your plate. My little girl loves sweet potato, sweede, parsnip, carrots and broccoli. They all have that mild sweetness like breast milk does. My little girl prefers food that has come off my plate than off her own. She loves to steal my toast 😂
