For me I started with switching his night time bottle at first, it’s just trial and error with the amounts. The first time he had 8oz! and then overtime he had now settled to 6oz per bottle, I now only breastfeed in the night time wake ups or sometimes in the day if he seems a bit hungry after a bottle, or to settle him sometimes x

Make sure you’re pumping any feeds you’re not giving him to keep your supply up if that’s what you want, or pump every other feed he’s not having if you want to decrease your supply x

@Hannah which pump do you use? Cant get anything out with mine

They recommend using a hospital grade pump, I don’t pump anymore as I have barely any left due to feeding at night time only but I used to use the momcozy s12 pros and struggled to get much out with them, unfortunately the best ones are the ones you can’t walk around with xx

I've tried loads of electric pumps and honestly find the handheld manual Medela one of the best and super cheap! But the electric medelas are also amazing compared to the wearable xx

I have always combi fed as have never produced enough milk as I have a very big LB. I try to always start with breastfeeding him first on most feeds and then top him up with a formula bottle after. I do try and pump when he’s out with my partner or a family sleepover but pumping just doesn’t work for me. I have a Medela electric pump. He currently breastfeeds on both sides until he gets annoyed that there is no milk left and then I have a 180ml bottle ready for him. Most of the time he will take almost the whole bottle.

@Tyler what does he do when there’s no enough milk? Trying to see if my LO have the same signs as I’m struggling to know when he still hungry

Rapid cools are a life saver if you're thinking of using powder formula!!
