I had a look at the Eric website and when he was 12.5 mo needed to get a urine sample so put him on ans now just done a routine of doing that after meals so hopefully he learns the words necessary and he can sign potty already and hopefully he gets a routine of always trying to go after meals. If he shows more signs I'll hope to get rid of nappies when he's around 18 mo after he settles at nursery as he's also starting nursery that month so not wanting to overwhelm but they said they help potty train 🙏❤️ he's done 2 poos in the potty already and last week he weed every time. This week was a bit harder as he's holding back but I haven't had to clean pee off the floor for 2 weeks! It's so much nicer than changing his nappy a he screams 😅 he has loved discovering his belly button and Privates 😅🙈 He also knows the routine of pouring wee into big toilet, waving bye bye, flushing and then he stands by the bath so i can wash his hands 🥰😍 he just doesn't like when I put a new nappy pant on him haha
We were going to try elimination communication from birth but it just didn't happen. We have a potty but only put her on it a couple of times. Maybe when it's warmer!
