Baby blues

How did you guys manage with the baby blues? I’ve found myself just absolutely crying and breaking down several times a day over a million different things. I didn’t experience the baby blues at all with my first born and I’m finding it quite hard dealing with them.

How long has it been going? Baby blues should be short lived. Could it be PND?

I’ve had it, it’s really tough. One day at a time. Know that it DOES GET EASIER. Speak to a professional to start with xx good luck

With my first I was like that. I later realized I was affected by birth trauma and PND. I had spoken with the nurses about it. They got me on to a social worker for a while. That was really helpful. Today I am just over 2 weeks postpartum and I have baby blues. But it’s not like that this time. Have you chatted with your nurses?

I just cried it out. It helped letting people in my life know about it too. It was the most intense two weeks in my life. I only looked at my baby and started sobbing. Over every other little thing I cried, and cried and cried. If it doesn't go away within two weeks I suggest talking to your nurse or midwife.

It's absolutely so hard, you're doing a great job. I invested in a wonderful therapist x

Like Vicky - I did cry and also let people know I was finding things tough.
