@Kaitlyn right, they didn’t mention anything to me but I will definitely bring it up next week as I have a recurrent miscarriage appointment- I was scared before but now I’m terrified knowing that 😅🫣😖 I can’t have a 4th loss in a year
Did they not tell you the risks of having another ectopic? I had an ectopic which resulted in surgery and I lost my right tube and I was told I had to have 2-3 periods and then I could try conceive. My friend who were having an ectopic hers resolved on its own and no medical intervention like you and she we’re told the same thing thing that she needed to wait and have a few periods and then try again if was ready too and she’d have to report any positive tests to early pregnancy so they can act quick and monitor xx
They were more interested in trying to get me to have surgery but I refused they told me about waiting if I had surgery and the injection but that was it
That’s pants. But as far as I was told you’ve to at least have a period first. I would mention it to them when you go though. X
@Kaitlyn I definitely will be but like I said we didn’t even try so if it is a new pregnancy then it’s our own fault for having sex 2-3 weeks after I got discharged 🤷🏼♀️
I do think it is a new pregnancy looking at the tests and going off what you’ve said. Fingers crossed for you though hun x
@Kaitlyn thank you, I’ll keep you updated x
Because the ectopic resolved on its own you didn’t necessarily need to wait a few months like you would have if you’d had methotrexate or surgery but as others have said definitely get bloods and a scan just to make sure
@Jessica oh okay Thankyou x
If you had a negative test and now testing positive sounds like a new pregnancy. I would get in touch with early pregnancy unit and get them to have your hcg tested as that’s the only way you’ll know fully. But I would say that it’s a new pregnancy. You are meant to wait 2-3 months and have a couple periods before getting pregnant again. I know you said you weren’t trying nor preventing but that’s what your meant to do as you have a 10% risk of having another ectopic pregnancy. X
