Engaged
Just been to my 35 week app (although I’m 36 weeks tomorrow) and baby is 1/5 engaged. Am I right in thinking that means it could be pretty soon?
I know they bob up and down but that’s “eviction notice” status surely? Anyone else had this?

I would say no - I’ve been 3/5 since 30 weeks (2nd baby in 18 months) and he’s still very much in there 😂 but everyone is different 🙏🏽 it is them starting to come head down though 🥰
I'd say no, I had that at 35 weeks, now 38 weeks and still pregnant 😂 x
Yes doesnt mean much other than babies in a good spot and the more engaged the more ripe your cervix will get from the pressure. Ive been 3/5 engaged for awhile 38+4 today and at my check on monday they said i was 1-2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So thats a good sign my bodies preparing. But I would not be concerned about baby coming when youre slightly engaged (this can change rapidly as well).

I don’t think it does unfortunately, pretty sure they can be engaged for weeks before labour in some cases. Although everyone is so different so for you it could be soon but I don’t think it’s too much of an indicator x
