Iām on the same boat, she refused dinner, breakfast this morning itās been going on like this for a week now and I make her favorites and she wonāt eat at all. The only thing that has worked has been her grandma feeding her but we donāt live with her so itās hard to get her to eat.
Have you tried giving him options. Asking him what he wants to have to eat?
Iāve tried having a picnic with him and have tried giving him food I know heāll usually eat. Iāve noticed everyday is different with him some days he will be willing to eat his food and others he will completely refuse. Sometimes he will start eating it and after one or two bites he wonāt eat it anymore. Apparently itās normally at this age for them to be picky and want be in control but I canāt rest knowing he hasnāt ate a full mealš¬x
I would definitely not try to force feed him, at that age heās fully capable of self feeding and Iām sure he doesnāt want to relinquish that control. How much milk does he drink during the day? Is he sick or teething?
He had 2 bottles a day so 1 in the morning 1 and in the evening and 1 in the night .. mainly has about 7oz ..

Not eating can be a sign of something coming on like a bit of a viral flu or tummy bug or something ? But if heās fine otherwise try this: with mine, I sit her at the table or high chair and wonāt give her a plate but just put everything on my plate and I eat (I make mmmmm noises too š) and my daughter will literally start licking her lips and drooling only because itās my food š¤¦š½āāļø so maybe try that? Then either feed it to him or just put it in front of him but off plate so he sees thatās where itās from xxx
