Am I right to be annoyed by this

My husband has got two days annual leave and doing things with his friend that's fine as I'm at work. However they've come back having been to Smyths and admitted buying a Lego F1 car that cost him £120 and he was all like it was such a good deal as it was £190. He then went to say I looked around for our LG for Xmas and his comment was it was a bit pricey for the stuff. I wanted to say are you f**king kidding me but I couldn't be bothered with having an argument. But I'm currently sat here really annoyed by it. More ranting rather than anything else

I’d say something to him and say why couldn’t you spend just a little bit on our child since you spent over £100 on yourself. It’s a bit out of order. I understand it was on offer but to not spend anything on your little one because it was a bit pricey is not on x

Is your husband a collector? I think people who are outside the hobby can't understand from their point of view. However I'd be upset at my husband for buying something for himself like this around the holidays. I understand its a deal but I always tell my husband that deals and sales may be for a limited time but they come back again usually, and he doesn't need to jump at every deal and sale. I'd rather he let me buy it for him for Christmas than just going and getting it himself.

You're nicer than me because I'd say so £120 on legonfor an adult isn't alot but £40 -£50 for a toy for your kod for xmas is?

My partner has a massive lego collection and he would never prioritise it over the kids Christmas stuff. Or maybe your partner ment that the stuff was pricey in smyths compared to other places?
