I ended up getting the 14 :) and I love it! I ended up getting myself 2 Xmas gifts cuz I was able to afford it this year

@Wendy unfortunately the $14 is still out of my price ranged if I buy it unlocked through apple I mean unless I save a whole check from next then maybe I can get it but idk. I like the older phones better

Some places do payment plans ! I did it when I had Verizon! I ended up doing payments through them added to my bill when I got the 15?

@Wendy I have cricket and If I want to switch to an iPhone I have to pay the full retail price if I want to upgrade early

Yeah I don’t think you should have to but the phone outright, you could go to Verizon or T-Mobile or anywhere like that and put a down payment down and then you’ll pay monthly. And apple purposefully makes older phones start glitching/nit working so you have to upgrade to there new phones so definitely keep that in mind if you’re still wanting an older iPhone

My partner and I have bought our phones on Amazon, they’re refurbished and unlocked so they work with cricket and they are much cheaper than with a retailer. We’ve never had a problem with them but they even come with a warranty.

Try backmarket they are refused but are really affordable and work perfectly that's where I got my Google pixel for 150 dollars

I just went to my provider yesterday and one of the ladies at the store told me that Apple does not update those versions anymore so they really don’t work well :(

Have you considered looking on eBay for a refurbished phone? Usually prices can be significantly less even for some of the newer ones
