How do you pronounce Eleanor?

I won't lie, I don't like the EleNOR pronunciation, so I'm wondering how common it is in the UK as I've heard it's mainly the American pronunciation. If you say EleNOR, where in the UK are you from? And do people think EleNOR will become more common in future, as more and more American English enters our language? Thanks! (Posting anon as I don't want friends to see what name were thinking)

I say NOR but where I grew up all the Eleanor’s said it like Ella na

My best friend is Eleanor, but she’s always gone by Ellie, and she/we say Ella-nuh (if that makes sense) 😂

Elin-uh, I’m in south wales

Being from the north I’d say it’s more of an Ele-nuh lol

Eleanor - I'm from Glasgow so we are quite hard with the R's lol

Elea-na from Manchester however when I lived in London I heard Elea-NOR more often

Ellen-na

Yeah North and it's elean-nuh, my daughters middle name is Eleanor as it was my nans middle name... (first name Betty and couldn't use it for obvious reasons)

Is automatically pronounce number 2 however number 1 would be correct as 2 is a different name right? North West

American in the UK here i’m definitely pronouncing it as Ele-nor

EleNOR - London

I’m called Eleanor and I get el-en-nuh. I find the only people who pronounce the or are my American relatives

My daughter is called Eleanor and we pronounce it Elena, but she's Ellie or Elle most of the time. We're from Leeds.
