Placenta delivery

Hello, I have opted for the injection for a quick delivery.

I've opted for doing it myself but I'm happy to ask for the injection if I am tired. Last time they just gave me it and I didn't realise it was even an option. Placenta was delivered pretty much immediately. I'm hoping it won't take long

I had help from the oxytocin drip for both my births and so I opted to have the injection to ensure things were concluded quickly. If I had had full natural deliveries I would have considered waiting :) I didn't find placenta delivery too painful, I just used some gas and air to manage the contractions that came with it.

Delayed active management - so taking the injection but with delayed cord clamping so, they won’t administer the injection until we are ready to cut the cord x

Having another caesarean so after a few minutes of delayed cord clamping it’ll just come out and go straight in the medical waste bin 😊
