I had mine almost 6months and bled constantly. I got it taken out bc of the bleeding, mood swings and depression. Now after my 1st kid I got the liletta IUD. I’m still breastfeeding but so far only have bleeding occasionally. I’m not sure if I’ve had an actual period yet (my son is 12m) but I bled a few weeks in the beginning like a light period to spotting. Now I have occasionally spotting maybe some light bleeding 1-3 days like a small period

I had the same problem the first time I had nexplanon, unfortunately I chose to ride it out until it was time to remove, I hated it. I decided to give it another try after my second son was born and bled for a few months straight before I contacted my obgyn, she put me on the pill to help and it did. My periods have been regular ever since, to clarify that was the first few months I had it in and my three years is up in January with no other issues since ! I’d talk to your doctor or ob about it. In my opinion nexplanon is worth it just reach out to someone if you’re having issues!

Sometimes you may need a back up . It could be your body rejecting it , or it can be your body getting used to it. It just all depends but be careful because you can get internal bleeding and ulcers from them or pass out and other symptoms.

I’m getting my nexplonan out hopefully next week do to mood swings but I’ve never had a period or spotting on mine

I haven’t had a period or spotting on mine and I honestly dunno if it’s normal ?

I had it about 7 years ago? I either bled or had spotting for months straight or didn’t get a period at all. I kept it the whole three years and just dealt with it , and I’m not planning on getting it again after this pregnancy
