I’m 40w2d today. I’m in the same boat as well. I honestly feel like I won’t be able to go naturally at this point and will end up having another C-section 😭

Have you scheduled a C-section or induction already ?

I have a prenatal appointment to see how dilated I am on Wednesday. If I’m dilated enough my ob feels comfortable doing an induction but if not I also have C-section scheduled for Thursday at exactly 41wks. I haven’t been dilated at all when he’s checked the past 3 weeks so that’s why I feel like I’m going to need another C-section

Still pregnant as well. This is my 4th child and I always go past my due date. I’m not worried about it. I’ve had natural, vaginal births. Just hang in there. It’s not uncommon to go past the estimated due date.

you still have time though! Fingers crossed!

have you ever went over 41w though? That’s when my doc said I should do an induction because it can be dangerous for baby to wait more than that. I wanted to go natural but that’s making me insecure to wait over 41w.

I went to 41w4d and delivered my son vaginally a few weeks ago. I planned to have an induction at 42w. This resource helped me realize that risks for delivering at this time were minimal from my perspective:
