No mattress in it sadly and it’s a different shape to a Moses basket so can’t even use a mattress from That! I would definitely recommend. Mine are 21 months and newborn and I find it great xx
I have this for my 22 month old and 10 week old. It’s a lot thinner than Normal size bassinets so I just fold a blanket, or lay him on his pram suit x

I don't have one but if it's a mattress you can buy waterproof ones. Obviously if it's fluffy it'll cover this with the waterproof sheet. I'm looking at doubles, would you recommend this pram for a 14 month old and newborn? X
